Living in the capital city of Australia makes for an enjoyable lifestyle! Canberra provides plenty of space to gain some perspective, national institutions for inspiration and great connections to the rest of Australia. My photography starts in this community, reaching across the globe for inspiration and challenge.
I've has always been a photographer (well, nearly) even during a first career as an electrician working on large mining and industrial projects in Queensland, even during a second career as an Anglican priest working in community welfare locally and nationally from Victoria, New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory. As an electrician and a priest, I was trained and well qualified to practice.
As a photographer, I have been awarded a Master of Visual Arts (Research) with Honours from the Australian National University. Even though photography can be a solitary form of expression, I enjoy working with other people on creative projects.
